METALLO

Metallo: I've always loved the animated Metallo, but had a hard time locating an affordable fodder figure to make this conversion. When I finally found one I got right to work improving the Hasbro version with a recipe inspired by the work of Tung Nguyen and Casimir (the man the myth), with a bit of a personal twist due to some different parts choices. I used a Metallo head and torso with right arm and swapped out his legs and left arm with that of a Mattel Joker (and a Superman fist). The Jokers arm was beefed up a bit with Gepaxio and the ripped shirt tail was dremmeled away and replaced with thin, cut sheet styrene. He was then painted up to match the tv version. He was a very simple custom that took me forever to get around to finishing. I'm happy he's finally wrapped up.
