Batman: This is a simple repaint that I did to pass the time while I waited for some epoxy putty to dry on a Clayface custom I'm working on. This is the Bats from the Mattel Catwoman two pack. I sanded off the "battle damage" scratch marks and painted all of the blue areas black and the belt brown. I dyed the cape black using thinned Higgin's Black Magic drawing ink. I know that in order to be "on model" the body suit needs to be a darker gray, but I sort of like him this way. He reminds me a little of the David Mazzuchelli Batman from "Batman: Year One". |
