Hal Jordan: It's always bugged me how the animated shows and the toy companies have utterly ignored Hal. He was my first animated custom and he uses a Mattel Justice League Green Lantern and a Mattel Justice League Batman face. I sliced off off John Stewart's face at the jaw line and glued on Batman's then filled in space left with epoxy putty. I sculpted a new forehead, chin, lower lip, and some hair then painted him up. The changes to his costume were an attempt to sort of marry Hal's costume to the established animated GL costume. Ironically, the result was something almost identical to John Stewarts post Crisis comic book costume. |
