Mr. Miracle: Have I mentioned I like Kirby characters? Anyway, Mister Miracle sports an original Sculpey head sculpt on a Mattel Batman body with a Superman Cape. He's my third attempt at a head sculpt and the closest thing to a normal human face that I've done so far (Draaga and Parasite being my other two attempts). I'm pretty happy with the results, though I don't think my photos do it justice. His boot and glove tops are made from strip styrene and epoxy putty (as is his belt) and the discs on his cape are thumbtacks. He was pretty simple once the head was sculpted and Bats' body was modified. I filled in the areas between the rib cage and the latts and then sanded it smooth making it one solid mass. I also beefed up the arms a bit. I'm really beginning to love these Mattel Batman two pack bodies! |
