MAY 2008

The ceramic bug bit me bad. Earlier this year I purchased a pottery wheel and was off making handthrown vessels. This has taken me away from horses for a spell here and there and updates are slow in the making, but I am finding that I still need to visit my horses often and have been doing that with sales items.

Through all this change I have been keeping the blog updated. I try to update every day which gives the public an inside view of everything going on in both the equine studio and the ceramics studio. I have also been holding giveaways there and I hope to have more giveaways in the next coming months. VISIT MY BLOG.

I'll be revisiting both my "Leela" sculpture and "Ophelia" sculptures this summer. My adventures into ceramics recently has been making me itchy to see both these pieces in clinkyware. In particular, I am planning to cast both in porcelain. I find this material stronger and more pleasing to work with than the earthenware. It has a transluscency that is intoxicating to me. So, stay tuned on my blog for updates on both these pieces.

That is about it at the moment. If you drop me a line, Ill try my best to email you as quickly as I can. Some days though, its hard to get to emails. But do email if you feel inspired. Im always happy to hear from you.

Thanks!
